Background

Artemisia or Absinthe vulgaris grows from 50 to 150cm, in uncultivated places from the plains to lower mountain slopes, up to 1600 meters.

Function

It contains essential oil, absintin, resins, mucilages and tannins. There are also vitamin C and beta carotene. It has developed the ability to protect itself from the extreme of the alpine areas where it grows. With moisturising properties, it protects the skin from oxidation, gives colume and helps prevent aging skin.
